Evidence on the roots and real-world impacts of Europe’s populist surge
The EUFIRST project develops and applies innovative empirical tools and analytical approaches to trace the long-term evolution of populism in Europe. Its goal is to equip public debate and policy design with solid, research-based evidence on political polarisation, global integration, and migration dynamics.
Bringing together researchers in Luxembourg and an international network of partners, EUFIRST combines perspectives from economics and political science to examine how structural transformations shape political attitudes, institutional performance, and mobility patterns in a rapidly changing world.
