Luxembourg has launched its first National Action Plan against racism and discrimination, drawing directly on the 2022 LISER-CEFIS report. This report shows that people of African descent and Muslims face disproportionately high discrimination in employment, housing and education, while only 11.2% of victims file a complaint. The Action Plan acknowledges that lasting impact depends on evidence-based policymaking. It therefore calls for continued collaboration with the scientific community, including regular updates of the LISER-CEFIS study, improved data collection and systematic evaluation of measures. Robust scientific evidence is central to turning ambition into effective action.
