Take part in a study on psychological health and well-being at work

Heart@work aims to understand how leadership behaviours can influence employees’ psychological health and well-being

We need your help! Beginning this fall, participants are invited to take part in the Heart@work study on heart activity and well-being at work.  The main research objective of Heart@work is to observe how employees’ perception of their line manager’s leadership behaviour influences their psychological health (measure at heart activity) and well-being at work.

Employees’ participation will contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge by better understanding common workplace problems (burnout, absenteeism, harassment, labour shortages, etc.) and encouraging adjustments to psychosocial conditions to promote the employees’ psychological health and well-being.

Who is concerned? Employees in contact (physical or online) at least once a week with their line manager and speak fluent French or English.

How to participate? Register here to see if you qualify. Those who do will be given a special device to take 3 heart measurements (one when you wake up, two during working hours) and complete a short survey or a diary at the end of the working day. Data will be collected over 10 working days, so you'll need about 15 minutes a day to complete it.

Participants will meet with the project team in the Belval Campus (Luxembourg) or in the proximity of their place of work to receive the device and a tutorial.

When will study take place? Heart@work has just launched and will run until March 2025

Why should I participate? Participants will help further research and in doing so, also qualify for a lottery to win a €100 Letzshop voucher!
