LMI4VET Project | Labour Market Information for VET

Adapting Vocational Education and Training (VET) provision in the not-for-profit sector to changes in the labour market, in order to prevent skills mismatches and unemployment

Technological advancements, globalization, and economic fluctuations create challenges in keeping Vocational Education and Training (VET) provision up to date. The LMI4VET (Labour Market Information for Vocational Education and Training) project was developed to address these challenges. Its goal is to equip non-profit VET providers with the necessary tools to design inclusive and future-oriented training programs based on labour market insights. The project pursues three key objectives:

  • Promoting social inclusion and employability
  • Aligning VET programs with labour market needs
  • Developing an adaptive, data-informed VET system to respond to economic challenges

This two-year project, funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme, brings together ten institutions from Spain, Italy, Romania, Germany, and Luxembourg. In each participating country, an academic institution collaborates with an association that provides training for vulnerable groups. In Luxembourg, the project partners are LISER and Digital Inclusion.
