Abstract

The aim of this seminar is to share my experience in collecting and analyzing eye tracking and emotion data. Together with experts in the field, I collected data from more than 40 primary school students in 2019 while working in a digital learning platform. For data collection, we used an eye-tracker fixed to a laptop screen in a classroom-like setting. For data analysis, we used the Observer XT (Noldus) software to analyze the eye-tracking data and the FaceReader (Noldus) software to analyze the facial expressions and emotion data.

I will reflect on the lessons learned during the data collection phase, as I will explain how we analyzed the data we collected. At the end of the session, there will be an open discussion on related topics and aspects of interest to the audience.
