LISER will be distributing green ribbons to its staff on the morning of October 10 to show solidarity with the nationwide action and also showing support for all those who are affected by mental health problems, whether directly or indirectly.

Like the pink ribbon symbolizing the fight against breast cancer, the green ribbon is the distinctive symbol of mental health.

The objective of the week is to promote mental health, raise awareness about mental illness, and fight the stigma of mental illness and build individual, family and community resilience.
