Dissemination

LISER supports the dissemination of the results of a PhD project to the scientific community. The Institute encourages its PhD candidates to present research papers or posters at international conferences and to publish scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals. To achieve this, LISER PhD candidates have access to LISER working papers series, and are offered translation and proof-reading services.

It is worth to mention also that mobility of PhD candidates is encouraged through the promotion of short-term visits to relevant research institutions.

One aspect of LISER's vision is that the research carried out within the Institute not only aims for academic and scientific excellence but also for impact on society. Therefore, PhD candidates as well as all LISER researchers are encouraged to make the results of their research accessible to as wide an audience as possible and to mediate between scientific research and policy makers.
