Workshop on Labour Income Taxation and the Labour Supply
On January 20th, 2020 LISER will host the conference “Workshop on Labour Income Taxation and the Labour Supply”. While the given title of the conference is intentionally broad in scope, the core topics covered address these precise questions:
- How do we estimate the labour supply when there are frictions on the labour market?
- What reforms of the tax system may lead to granting social assistance unconditionally (that is, without the requirement of being ready to take a job when it is available)?
The conference aims to bring together a few partner experts in taxation, LISER researchers, and PhD students. Through a series of talks, the aim is to encourage exchanges for contributions and developments to be discussed.
Deadline: Please register by January 15.
