Biography
Céline Rozenblat is a professor of urban geography at the University of Lausanne. Her main research interests involve systems of cities at a European and global scale, multinational firm’s networks, inter-urban dynamics, comparative urban data and mapping visualization of networks in geography. For several years she has worked on the relations between the evolution of multi-level urban processes and dynamics in city-system networks. She has also contributed several databases on the locations of multinational firms and their networks. She is the current Vice President of the IGU (International Geographical Union) 2020-2024 and she previously served as Director of the Institute of Geography and sustainability (2018-2022) at the University of Lausanne.
Research Interests: Network analysis, urban geography, power laws, systems of cities, multilevel analysis
